We build bespoke narrowboats, widebeams and Dutch barges from hulls, sailaways, lined sailaways through to fully fitted.
We have two boats to view. Both are bespoke narrowboats with square sterns and short bows that maximise the living space. Essex Girl is 58ft, has painted and oak interior with oak cabinetry and iroko worktops. Coffin Dodger is 57ft has a stern seating area, a painted and oak interior, oak cabinetry and oak worktops, two single dinettes and some amazing sign writing.

Formed in 1966, the Historic Narrow Boat Club is a not-for-profit club dedicated to preserving the working heritage of UK canals, from the boats themselves to details of the waterways on which they travel. We are passionate about working boats, traditional skills, the built heritage, and the practices and courtesies of the working boat people.

We will be showing a 62ft semi-trad narrowboat built on a Steve Haywood shell and fitted out by us. This boat is for sale as a share boat so shares can be purchased at the Show. We are a small bespoke boat builder/yard in Kings Bromley, Lichfield.
LNBP Community Boating
A voluntarily run charity providing canal boat holidays, short breaks and day trip experiences for a wide range of community groups and organisations.

Our boat sales locations continue to grow with 3 new locations for 2023. We now operate sales from Tattenhall, Great Haywood, Saul, Barton, Roydon, Caen Hill, Northwich Quay and Shakespeare Marinas. Louis and Joshua Boatbuilders Limited are proud to present Longleat, a 58ft square back Josher with steelwork by Jonathon Wilson. The interior design and fit out is beautifully crafted by our team in Thorne Doncaster. This particular vessel is powered by a 43 Barrus Shire coupled with a Hybrid Marine 5KVA motor generator. The 24 2V wet traction cells combine to make 48V 480Ah, ensuring over 8 hours of quiet, environmentally friendly cruising.

Favourite Boat in Show
The Favourite Boat in Show award is a tradition of Crick. The 2023 competion is sponsored by Haven Knox-Johnston and there with be two trophies - one the most admired narrowboat and one for the most admired widebeamt, as voted for by Show visitors.
The result will be announced early afternoon on Monday. Everyone who votes is entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Marks & Spencer voucher and voters can also enter a prize draw to win a year's free boat insurance from Haven Knox-Johnston (T&C apply). The winning exhibitor receives a trophy and a bottle of champagne.
